FP3(+). Install a Micro SD card

To expand the storage capacity of your Fairphone 3/Fairphone 3+ (FP3/FP3+) memory, you can use a MicroSD card (dimensions: 15mm×11mm). The supported format is Speed Class 10 SD, SDHC, or SDXC. The maximum capacity should be no more than 400GB.

We do not have the capacity to test 3rd party hardware. To have advice on the best Micro SD card to use with your FP3/FP3+, we recommend asking for advice on our forum

- IMPORTANT -

Before installing an SD card, always back up your FP3/FP3+

The interactions between the apps installed on your Fairphone and the SD card are managed by the Android OS (Operating System). We do not have control over those, thus we will not be able to help you retrieve your data in case of malfunctioning. If you experience issues, we advise performing a factory reset and then restore your FP3/FP3+
