Fairphone Easy is a lease service, currently available to customers based in the Netherlands.
Fairphone Easy ideal for customers who love using a smartphone and like to have the maintenance and hardware repairs taken off of their hands. Fairphone Easy offers a swap service in case you encounter any hardware problem with the device.
What is included:
- Our latest Fairphone 4 5G (256GB, 8GB RAM) in Green
- Two accessories to help your device last longer:
- A Fairphone 4 Protective Soft Case in Grey, Green or Pastel red
- A Fairphone 4 Screen Protector with Blue Light Filter
- Service: including device swapping, repair and maintenance.
Optional: You can opt-in for a USB-C cable and Dual port charger in case you need them.
In case you encounter software issues, please use our Troubleshooting tool (available to guide you 24/7). Or get in touch with our Customer Support Team. They will be able to either solve the problem with you, or provide you with clear information on when a known issue is going to be solved.
How do I subscribe to this service?
Which plans are available?
Fairphone offers four plans. All plans come with a minimum commitment period of 3 months, after which your plan will be automatically prolonged. You are flexible to cancel (or continue) your plan at any time (with a 30 day notice period). If you do not wish to prolong your plan, you have to cancel a minimum of 30 days before the subscription period ends.
The four plans plans currently available are the following (all including VAT):
- A minimum of 3 months for 34 euro per month
- A minimum of 12 months for 29 euro per month
- A minimum of 36 months for 24 euro per month
- A minimum of 60 months for 21 euro per month.
How does Fairphone Easy work?
Subscribing to Fairphone Easy means that subscribers don’t need to buy a new phone or worry about their phone breaking - Fairphone fixes it for you! Fairphone will take care of maintenance or repairs your phone might need.
Subscribers are rewarded with lower monthly fees if they take care of their phone. We ensure the phone ‘lives on’ by refurbishing it, or re-using the parts to repair another phone.
At the end of the phone’s life, it is properly recycled. The device will not become e-waste or end up in a drawer, where all the valuable materials can no longer be utilized.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can. We offer you to cancel your subscription free of charge within 14 days upon subscribing. If you make use of this 14-day cool- off period, you must return the device as soon as possible. To request a cool-off return, please contact Customer Support.
The Customer Support team will provide you with the necessary details and shipping labels. The device must be returned in the original condition and packaging in accordance with the instructions and shipping label received from our Customer Support team sent you, together with any accessories you received.
If you want to cancel your subscription after the 14-day cool-off period but before the end of the minimum term, you can do so by contacting Customer Support, or use through the self service portal. Bear in mind that you will still need to pay the outstanding monthly fees that would have applied until the end of your minimum subscription term.
