How to connect to a mobile network

In most cases, your Fairphone will automatically connect to your mobile network operator as soon as you've set up your SIM.

If your Fairphone doesn't automatically connect, you may need to change your mobile network settings:

  1. On your Fairphone, go to Settings → Network & internet → SIMs.
  2. Tap the name of SIM you want to edit.

Check with your network operator to find the appropriate settings for your SIM.

How to turn mobile data on or off

To turn mobile data on or off:

  1. On your Fairphone, swipe down twice from the top of your screen to open all Quick Settings.
  2. Tap Internet, and then tap the toggle to the right of the SIM's name to toggle mobile data on or off for that SIM.
    • Note: If you're using Dual SIM, you can only turn on mobile data for one SIM at a time.
