How to find your Fairphone (Gen. 6) IMEI and module serial numbers
If you need to identify your Fairphone (Gen. 6) for a support request, warranty claim, or legal tracking, you will need its unique identification codes.
Every Fairphone (Gen. 6) device has two separate International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) numbers because the device supports dual SIM cards. Independent parts of your device have their own serial numbers.
Understanding your identification numbers
IMEI numbers: The 15-digit IMEI 1 identifies your device. Because the Fairphone (Gen. 6) supports dual SIM cards, it has two unique IMEI numbers (IMEI 1 and IMEI 2) starting with '35'.
Module serial numbers: This 8-symbol combination of letters and numbers acts as the unique serial tracking numbers for parts of the phone, including the core module. To prevent reading errors, serial numbers never contains the lowercase or uppercase letters 'i', 'o', 'u', or 'y'.
