Google Gemini AI assistant on Android

We are excited you are exploring Gemini on your Fairphone! As Gemini is now the default AI assistant, getting started is straightforward. Here is what you need to know for your first interaction.

At Fairphone, we prioritize your control. While Gemini is a Google service, you always have the choice to switch off Gemini on your device. You can manage your data usage and privacy settings directly within the Gemini app and your Google profile.

Some of these steps only work if your Fairphone has Android 13 or above. Find out How to check and update your software version.
