How to replace your earbud batteries
Before starting any repair, ensure your Fairbuds are not charging and are disconnected from any cable. Work on a clean surface and keep both your hands and replacement spare parts clean to maintain an optimal electrical connection. Please dispose of old batteries responsibly by recycling them locally.
- Remove the silicone ring: Carefully lift the silicone ring using your fingernails or a prying tool. Pull it up and over the outer earbud, taking care not to overstretch the ring.
- Open the battery tray: Locate the + and - indicators on the earbud to find the rotating battery tray. Gently rotate the tray open (note that it does not open completely).
- Swap the batteries: Remove the old battery. Insert the new battery into the tray, ensuring the + and - polarity signs align correctly with the indicators on the earbud.
- Reassemble your earbud: Close the battery tray gently until it clicks shut. Slide the silicone ring back over the earbud, ensuring the raised outer lip aligns properly.
