If you prefer to use the physical switch on your Fairphone (Gen. 6) for something other than activating and deactivating Fairphone Moments you can assign a different action to your liking in the system settings. 

Currently the actions that can be assigned to the physical switch are:

• Fairphone Moments: enabling/disabling Fairphone Moments, this is the default option
• Do Not Disturb: enabling/disabling Do Not Disturb
• Flight Mode: enabling/disabling Flight Mode
• Torch Light: enabling/disabling the torch light
• Dark & Light Mode: switch between light & dark mode. Light mode will be active when the switch is in up state, dark mode will be active once the switch is in down state.
• Battery Saver: turns on/off the battery saver, with battery saver being on when the switch is in down state.

How to change the action assigned for the switch button?

To adjust which feature is assigned to the physical switch, follow these simple steps:

Important: Move the switch to the Up (Off) position before adjusting the action assigned to it.

1. On your Fairphone, go to Settings → Switch. 
2. From the list, select the feature you want to be assigned to the switch button.
