• Uses a two-way filter that decreases visibility at the right and left angles of the screen.
• Provides 56° of vision: at a 28° angle it has decreased visibility, and at a 45° angle the visibility is fully filtered.
• Maintains nearly unaffected visibility within those 56°, showing only a very light grey tint.

What you need before you begin

To ensure a smooth, bubble-free application, make sure you use a clean, quiet, and completely dust-free work surface.

How to apply your Fairphone screen protector

Follow the instructions in the video tutorial or use the step-by-step text guide below:

1. Switch off your phone and remove its protective case.

2. Use the cleaning tissue to remove any smudges or grease from your screen.

   

3. Use the microfiber screen wipe to clear away watermarks and thoroughly clean the display.

   

4. Use the dust removal sticker across the glass to ensure the screen is completely dust-free.

   

5. Remove the protective plastic backing layer from the screen protector to expose its active adhesive side.

   Depending on your model, the materials feel slightly different during installation:

   • The Fairphone (Gen. 6): The protective layer is flexible, and the screen protector glass is more rigid.
   • Fairphone 5: The screen protector glass is cut slightly smaller than its plastic backing layer.
   • Fairphone 4 & Fairphone 3(+): The plastic backing layer is rigid, and the screen protector glass is more flexible.

   

6. With the adhesive side facing down, carefully line up the screen protector with the bottom edge of the screen.

   

7. Slowly roll the screen protector flat against the screen, moving from the bottom edge up toward the top.
8. Let go of the protector to allow it to fully adhere to the screen glass.
9. Gently apply outward pressure with the microfiber screen wipe to push out any remaining air bubbles.
10. Turn your phone back on, place it back into its protective case, and you are good to go!
