The Android 15 update for Fairphone 5 does not reintroduce the Always-on Display (AOD) feature.
Will Android 15 come to the Fairphone 3?
Upgrading the Fairphone 3(+) to Android 15 won't be possible. Similar to Android 14, introducing a newer Android version to the Fairphone 3(+) presents significant challenges due to the device's legacy Linux kernel (4.9). This kernel currently offers limited support for Android 13 and wouldn't support Android 15 at all.
