How to pair and connect your Fairbuds XL via Bluetooth
Connecting your Fairbuds XL to your phone, tablet, or computer takes only a few seconds. Here is how to pair your headphones for the first time, switch between devices using dual-point connectivity, or clear your pairing record if you run into connection issues.
How to pair your Fairbuds XL for the first time
- Press and hold the joystick button on the right ear cup of your Fairbuds XL for three seconds until the status LED blinks blue.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on your device and select Fairbuds XL from the list of available devices.
If you use an Android device, a Google Fast Pair pop-up window will appear automatically on your screen when you turn on your Fairbuds XL in pairing mode. Tap Connect to pair instantly.
How to connect to two devices at the same time
Your Fairbuds XL support dual-point connectivity, allowing you to stay connected to two devices simultaneously.
- Pair your Fairbuds XL with your first device following the steps above.
- Press and hold the joystick for three seconds until the LED light blinks blue to enter pairing mode again.
- Open the Bluetooth settings on your second device and select Fairbuds XL.
- Reconnect to your Fairbuds XL from your first device Bluetooth menu.
How to reset your Bluetooth pairing record
If your headphones fail to connect or experience audio dropping, clearing your Bluetooth pairing record will restore default connection settings.
- Open the Bluetooth menu on your connected device and tap Forget or Unpair next to Fairbuds XL.
- Ensure your Fairbuds XL are turned on.
- Press and hold both the joystick and the Active Noise Canceling button simultaneously for five seconds.
- The LED light will flash red three times to confirm the reset is complete.
