How to check your warranty coverage by model
To help your hardware last, we offer extended warranty options for eligible devices. Select your model below to view its specific coverage terms.
Fairphone
The Fairphone (Gen. 6)
The Fairphone (Gen. 6) includes two years of standard warranty, plus up to three years of extended warranty upon registration. The battery inside the phone also includes up to 14 months of extended coverage (no registration needed).

Fairbuds XL (2023)
Two years (no extended warranty available)
Spare parts and general accessories: Two years of standard warranty from the delivery date.
Cables and chargers: Two years of standard warranty. For cables and chargers purchased after May 6, 2025, an additional year of automatic extended warranty.
What you need before you begin
Make sure you have the following details ready before starting your registration:
- Proof of purchase (receipt or invoice) showing the order date, full product name, purchase price, and seller details
- The IMEI number of your smartphone or the serial number of your Fairbuds
How to register your extended warranty
- Open the MyFairphone app on your phone and tap Warranty Status, or visit our official Fairphone warranty page in your web browser.
- Upload a legible copy of your proof of purchase.
- Fill out the step-by-step form with your contact details and device IMEI or serial number.
- Submit the form and check your email inbox for a confirmation message.
If you do not receive the confirmation email within a few minutes, check your spam folder before reaching out to our support team.
