How to use Fairbuds 2 touch controls for audio, calls, and Active Noise Canceling

  • Updated

Your Fairbuds 2 feature touch controls on both earbuds so you can manage playback, phone calls, and sound modes without touching your phone. Here is how to use every gesture to control your audio experience.

How to control audio playback

Use simple taps and swipes on either earbud to manage your music and podcasts:

  • Single tap (left or right earbud): Play or pause audio.
  • Double tap (right earbud): Skip to the next track.
  • Double tap (left earbud): Skip to the previous track or go to the beginning of the current track.
  • Long press (right earbud): Increase volume.
  • Long press (left earbud): Decrease volume.

Removing both Fairbuds from your ears automatically pauses playback.

How to manage phone calls

Handle incoming phone calls directly through your Fairbuds 2:

  • Single tap (either earbud): Answer a call.
  • Double tap (either earbud): Hang up.
  • Long press (either earbud): Reject a call.

It's also possible to control your Active Noise Canceling mode and volume during a call.

How to switch Active Noise Canceling modes

Toggle between listening modes to control how much background sound you hear:

  • Tap three times (either earbud): Cycle between Active Noise Canceling, Transparency Mode, and ANC Off.

Identify your current Active Noise Canceling mode and customize intensity through the official Fairbuds app on your phone.
