How does the 65W charger distribute power when multiple devices are connected?

The charger has two USB-C ports (first and middle) and one USB-A port. The power each port delivers depends on how many ports are used at the same time.

Using a Single Port

Port Used Power Output
First USB-C only 65W
Middle USB-C only 65W
USB-A only 30W

Using Two Ports Simultaneously

Ports Used Power Output
First USB-C + Middle USB-C First: 45W, Middle: 20W
First USB-C + USB-A First: 45W, USB-A: 18W
Middle USB-C + USB-A Middle: 7.5W, USB-A: 7.5W ⚠️ Significantly lower output

Using All Three Ports

Ports Used Power Output
First USB-C + Middle USB-C + USB-A First: 45W, Middle: 7.5W, USB-A: 7.5W

Note: The First USB-C port always gets priority (up to 45W) when more than one port is used.

Charger and cable warranties

For items bought on or after May 6, 2025: All cables and chargers are covered by the statutory legal guarantee of your country, plus an automatic one-year Fairphone extended warranty. No extra registration or sign-up is needed.

For items bought before May 6, 2025: Chargers and cables are covered by your standard national legal guarantee.

Good to know: The exact duration of your standard legal guarantee depends entirely on the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. For example, in the EU, this is a minimum of two years.
