How to set up and manage mobile data on your Fairphone
When connected to a mobile network, your Fairphone lets you make calls, send SMS messages, and use mobile data on the go. Here is how to set up your network connection and manage your mobile data.

How to connect to a mobile network
In most cases, your Fairphone automatically connects to your network operator as soon as you set up your SIM.
If your phone does not connect automatically, follow these steps to check and update your settings:
- Go to Settings > Network and Internet > SIMs.
- Tap the name of the SIM you want to edit.
- Check with your network operator to find the appropriate settings for your SIM card and enter them here.
How to turn mobile data on or off
You can control your mobile data connection at any time using screen shortcuts:
- Swipe down twice from the top of your screen to open Quick Settings.
- Tap Internet.
- Tap the toggle to the right of your SIM's name to turn mobile data on or off.
If you are using Dual SIM, you can only turn on mobile data for one SIM at a time.
