If you are an advanced user, you will be happy to know that you can unlock the bootloader of your Fairphone to install an alternative operating system such as /e/OS.
/e/OS - For advanced users
Murena has made available its /e/OS for Fairphone 4, Fairphone 3(+), and Fairphone 2. To get support for /e/OS, you will have to contact Murena directly.

For Fairphone 2, we offered Fairphone Open, an OS with no Google services pre-installed. Fairphone Open will NOT work on the Fairphone 4 or Fairphone 3(+).
What about the warranty?
Fairphone supports only Fairphone OS. If you need our assistance, you first need to revert to Fairphone OS to restore the original warranty.
