Give a Fairphone Gift Card

The Gift Card is a unique code that we send to the receiver on behalf of the sender. The person who buys the card, will not receive the unique code. The sender will receive an order confirmation.

To give a beloved one a Fairphone Gift Card:

1. Go to the dedicated Gift Card page in our online shop.
2. Select the amount you want to put on the Gift Card. You can either select one of the suggested amounts or type the amount yourself.
3. Enter your name, recipient's name, recipient's e-mail address and a message of choice that will be visible on the Gift Card.
4. You can select "Preview Gift Card" to see how the Gift Card will look like once it's sent to the recipient.
5. Add it to your cart.
6. If your cart contains all the items you wish to buy, select "Go to checkout".
7. Fill in your payment details and pay for your order.
8. When you place the order, we send you an order confirmation via email with the product code (SKU) of the Gift Card, this is not the unique Fairphone Gift Card account code.
9. When your payment is processed successfully, we send a payment confirmation via email with the invoice. This moment is the date of issue.
10. The receiver of the Gift Card receives an e-mail with a unique code they have to apply to their cart before checkout. If they did not receive it, let them check their spam folder first.

When you do not receive these confirmation e-mails, check your spam folder first. If they are not there, log in your account to check if your mail address is correct.

Use a Fairphone Gift Card

When you are the lucky recipient of a Fairphone Gift Card, use it when you place an order.

To make use of a Gift Card code:

1. Go to our online shop to place your order.
2. Go to your cart.
3. At the right side of the order overview, you see the field Gift Card/Discount code.
4. Enter the unique code you received in your email.
5. Select the button Enter below it.
6. Verify that the amount was applied to your order.
7. If so, proceed and push the yellow button below Continue checkout. If not, contact our Customer Support.
8. Fill in all the required fields in Checkout and push the yellow button Save.
9. Check if your Shipping address is the same as your Billing address.
10. Select your preferred shipping option.
11. Push on the yellow button Continue to review and pay.
12. Pay for the remaining amount if applicable.
13. Via email, you will receive:
    1. An order confirmation.
    2. A payment confirmation with an invoice that shows the Fairphone Gift Card account code and the amount used for that order.

Check your Fairphone Gift Card Balance

It is possible to check the balance of your Gift Card account.

To see it:

1. Go to the online shop and add any item that is covered by your Gift card to your cart.
2. Go to your cart.
3. On the right side of the order overview, you see the text Gift Card/Discount code.
4. Enter your code and push the button Enter.
5. The amount that is being deducted from your order is the current balance of your Gift Card.
6. In case you want to continue with your order:
   1. Verify if the amount was applied to your order.
   2. Proceed and push the yellow button on the right Continue checkout to place your order.
7. In case you don't want to use your Gift card now, remove your Gift Card from your cart.
8. In case you don't want to proceed with the order, you can empty your cart.
