How to pair a replacement Fairbud 2

  • Updated

If you lost a single earbud and ordered a replacement, you must perform a factory reset to pair the new Fairbud 2 with your existing earbud and charging case.

What you need before you begin

  • Both Fairbuds 2 earbuds (your remaining earbud and the replacement earbud).
  • Your Fairbuds 2 charging case.
  • Your smartphone or audio device.

Resetting and pairing your earbuds

  1. Open the Bluetooth menu on your connected device and tap Forget or Unpair next to Fairbuds 2.
  2. Place both earbuds inside the charging case with the lid open.
  3. Press and hold the function button on the charging case for 10 seconds.
  4. The LED lights inside the case will flash quickly five times to confirm the factory reset is complete. Both earbuds are now reset to their original factory settings and paired together.

Reconnecting to your phone or audio device

After performing a factory reset, you need to pair your Fairbuds 2 with your device again. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device, select your Fairbuds 2 from the list of available devices, and tap to connect.
